The Route 66 Hostel is just a few blocks from Albuquerque's Transportation Center with the Train, Greyhound and local bus lines.(See Map Below) Just walk North 2 blocks to from 2nd to Central, then West for 8 blocks to 10th street

Albuquerque's Old Town is just a mile from the Hostel, and Laundry and Grocery Stores are an easy walk from the Hostel.

The University of New Mexico is 3 miles East of the hostel and can be reached by car or city transit.

You will find that the Route 66 Hostel is well located for reaching the Botanical Gardens and Aquarium, Zoo, many Museums and the Sandia mountains. Be sure to check out other sites such as the Peublo Indian Cultural Center, the Hispanic Cultural Center, West Mesa Petroglyphs and the Atomic Museum.

There is also a great night life in Downtown Albuquerque, just a few blocks from the Hostel. Nite Clubs, resturants and the new Downtown Cineplex all provide for an exciting experience within walking distance.
